I think it would have to be to have more confidence in myself and to not let the fear of the unknown get in my way. When I had just finished year 11, I didn't know for sure what I wanted to study so I ended up staying on in the sixth form with people I didn't get along with and I ended up really down until I decided I had, had enough. I then went on to have lots of jobs which isn't a bad thing and give me good working experience- but it's not what I wanted still.
Years later I went to college and it was the best thing I had done! I got my first animal nursing and welfare qualification- so I'm on the right path! I just wish I had went straight to college and studied more. Although being a mature/older student is great, I'm hoping to continue learning/studying more soon!
