Goodbye everyone! smile

Back from a week in Colorado visiting the family. My family has such a soap opera existence. Sometimes it's nice to be 1200 miles away from all that.

I'm very excited to be going to see Xavier Rudd at the Showbox in Seattle on June 29th. That's gonna rock!!

Thanks for the nice comments! I don't want to get my student loans deferred if I can pay them back at all because I don't want to have them for the rest of my life! Right now, I can afford to HOPEFULLY get them paid off in ten(ish) years! This seems fair to me... I'll just not spend as much on other stuff.

I have talked to my BF about my attraction to women. It seems like he might be threatened by the idea . . . I know he doesn't want me to be alone with a woman (sexually), but I don't want to be some sort of show for guys to see me with a lady (you know - really dehumanizing!!)
So if I'm to be with a lady at this point in our relationship there has to be a medium where both him and I are comfortable and he doesn't feel threatened.
I don't know if it'll ever work or happen . . .

BTW, I saw Xavier Rudd at Bumbershoot last summer and he is really rad!!! I hope you have a great time at the show!
avalokitesvara:
Xavier was at Bumbershoot?!? Jesus, how did I miss that? I haven't been to Bumbershoot in about 6-7 years. Grad school and having a kid kinda got in the way of that. Last time I went, we saw Cake and G. Love. They were awesome. That must have been '01 or '02.

Yeah, student loans sucked. I worked hard and got them paid off in 6 years, even with having to defer them for about 6 months during that first year. Actually, I still kept paying like $10 a month, because I got an interest deduction for having an automatic monthly payment. Maybe a lowered payment would be an option if things get really tight.

Sounds like you're in a tough situation relationship-wise. I'm sure you'll sort it all out eventually, but it might not be easy. Good luck!

Some kind soul gifted me with reactivation. I wonder who would do me such a kindness?

Howdy, y'all. I'm back from Texas. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. In fact, I didn't even feel like I was in Texas. It felt a lot like Sacramento, Very few of the people we met/hung out with had that Texas drawl, and I didn't see any more big trucks or cowboy hats than I'm used to. We had no trouble...

I am mostly well again. And it was almost 80 degrees today. Very nice. I have been very busy the last week.

This weekend, we're going to Texas ( puke ) for my wife's half-sister's half-sister's wedding. I know, it's confusing - the Mrs. has a very twisted family tree. See, she's my wife's father's first daughter's mother's second daughter. That should clear things up. surreal

I'm...

Feliz Cinco de Mayo!

Well, we didn't end up going to the Mayan. My friend Jim was in town, and we wanted to meet him for dinner, and since he sent his car to heaven today, he needed to meet downtown. So, we went to Plenty. They had some Cinco de Mayo specials, but they all had cheese, so I ended up going with the...

I don't know about this whole SG thing. It's been fun, but I think maybe I've been spending (wasting?) too much time on this site. And I've only made one friend in 2 months. Maybe I'm not a good fit for this community. I might let my membership expire at the end of the month.

What do you think?

(Don't worry, Vervain, I'll keep in...

and i am glad. i think you should do what feels right. i recieved my nvc book and i really like it. thank you. we can always email each other beyond this site. thanks for your comment on my page a day ago, although it was more like a question. my friend and i have since communicated and he was overtired and uncomfortable where we were. communication is really everything. and assumptions are dangerous. oh, and who do you think is next to go? wink
sidenote.. i am somewhat losing interest with the show lately...how bout you?

I guess I'm just supposed to start writing instead of thinking up something that I think is worth saying.

I don't usually do it that way.

I just don't say anything.

But that's not how you're supposed to do it. You're supposed to just let whatever comes out come out without trying to edit it. I mean, who the fuck is that editor guy in...
