So my list of things I received as part of this year's Festivus extravaganza:
-From Russia With Love video game
-Call of Duty 2: Big Red One video game
-Shirt from the GAP
-Jeans from the GAP
-2 sets of different colognes
-Tons of socks (I really needed some badly)
-Lullaby by Chuck Palahniuk
-Diary: A Novel, ibid.
-Blood in the Argonne novel about my great grandfather's battalion in WWI
-Harry Houdini novel from my Uncle Joe and Aunt Daryl
-Jewish dictionary from Lindsay and Greg
-2 books by Elis Wiesel, also from Lindsay and Greg
-Tons of body spray
-A Yukon Cornelius Doll from my Aunt Cindy and Uncle Peter, because apparently I look like him.
-Organic food from my Aunt Jackie and Uncle Randy
-Seinfeld: Season 4 and 5 on DVD
-Jack Skeleton Action figure from Joe
-Tickets to a Sabres game from Michael
-Wisdom of the World's Oldest People from my Grandmother
-A ton of cash from everyone
However, the best gifts I received this year were the America: The Book and (what we'll call for right now) item B from Katy.
Item B consisted of the movie, "It's a Wonderful Life" on DVD, and a box of tissues, because someone watched it with me one day and saw me sobbing at the end of the movieyeah, I thought it was hilarious.
Thanks for making this Scrooge's day; I love the fact that it's over, but I'm glad I was awake for it now.
Mind you: Channukah isn't over yet.
