I think I'll post another update since I didn't introduce myself to well in the last entry. I'm Will, I'm 20 and I'm from New Jersey... blah blah blah. On to the important stuff...
I love music, more than anything. It's the one think that keeps me from going insane in this throw-everything-away world we live in. I love listening to and composing music. I have three projects I am currently working on. Maschinenvolk, which is a mix of many experimental genres, Aurora Noise, which is a synth pop project I started and Disassembler, which is a noise/glitch project. I've completed two EP's so far, and I'm working on an album. I get my inspiration from many different walks of life, and many different generes and artists.
I love synthesizers and various eletronic devices used for music production. (which is also one of the reasons why I love music). I have a whole arsenal of equipment set up in my "studio", and I'm planning to add more and some software synths for my Mac. For you techno geeks out there, this is what I currently own: Novation X-Station 25, Yamaha DX7, Korg ESX-1, Roland SH-101, Roland MC-303 and a Yamaha SU-10.
I love watching films, a few of my favorites are Ghosts of the Civil Dead, The Long Kiss Goodnight, Se7en, Requiem for a Dream, Ghost World, Garden State and more.
One day I hope to make a short film of my own and compose the soundtrack for it. Or I'd love to do the soundtrack for a movie.
I'm not sure what else to say, so I'll leave you with this...
"Another sleepless night.
Thoughts swirl within this intricate web.
Synapses relay to synapses.
Faint whispers in the dark.
Close your eyes and pretend to dream.
It's as close as you'll ever get.
Hold tight. It's only the beginning.
Each step brings me closer to you.
Time is nothing.
Through illusion,
We experience reality.
Nothing is real.
These demons haunt me.
You're a broken toy.
That lifeless puppet, tattered and torn.
Forever performing a one man show.
The strings are worn, but never break.
This is hell."
A short free form poem I wrote, make what you will of it. I have no intention of setting down any underlying meaning for anything. It is what you want it to be. Interpretation is up to you.
Until next time...
