Ok...I'm a fuckin geek...but this shit is too cool. This is how they landed Spirit and Opportunity on mars.

I've got a hard on for Mars now. I always have been a little Sci Fi geek.

I'm not trying to call you out, and am not trying to show disrespect toward your service--that's why I'm posting this here instead of on the boards.
If you did what you did, then you know there is a huge difference between in an army radio operator MOS and being part of the two USAF specialties that do about 95% of the CAS out there. I know you guys work the artillery call-for- fires, but unless you wore a green beret at your post, you and I both know that the mike time you got with fixed wing aircraft was both the exception and the emergency.
Finally, I will reiterate this: you should know better than to ask someone to detail classified shit on the net. This story is broken to the media, and we can talk, surmise, or whatever. Don't cross the line, though. I'd rather you just say I'm a liar when I say they are closely monitored then try to have me post shit on their stand-up procedures, ok?
P.S. I just realized we are just about the same age. I'm curious as to whether you did this CAS work during OEF or OIF, and who you were with.
