Sweet! I now have 10 followers and I'm following 10 people. I like to know that I'm looking as much as I'm listened to by people.
Otherwise, as I've said before I am in the process of trying to be more active on this site and I'm always looking to talk to people and make new interesting friends all over the place. When I say I'm looking to make friends I mean that I'm also looking for actual human contact. As much as it's fun to be a socially awkward nerd I realized a long time ago that it's good to get some practice and talk to people in real life.
On the internet it's a lot easier to talk to people because you can have more time to sit down and think about what you're saying and you have to be more careful with what you say because you don't want people to misread your intentions. In real life that changes because you also need to take into account your tone and body language which can completely change the meaning of what you say. I want to improve my conversations with people in real life. That being said, I'm also open to phone calls and meeting people in real life but lets leave that to you guys to worry about.
Right now I've been working on my art as usual and my current goal is to produce 1000 completed pieces and publish them within 3 years. My business is going well and steps have been taken to get it off the ground. Valentines day was uneventful to the point where I forgot it was valentines day until someone at the convenience store said 'Happy Valentines day' to me. I've really wanted to find the time to play the new 'The Last of Us' DLC that came out on Friday but that wont be happening until tomorrow. Tonight there's a party with some friends I will be going to.
Speaking of videogames, anyone here played 'The Last of Us'? My god that game was a masterpiece. Mind you, it was more of a movie than a game and it does make me think a little about how gaming has become more cinematic in recent years. I love a good story but it makes me wonder if the trend of cinematics taking precedence over gameplay is becoming a thing... Oh well, that something for my group blog. A good discussion for an episode of our planned podcast.
'God is in his heaven, all's right with the world'- I know the original source for this quote is Pippa Passes but points to anyone who knows what anime I'm referencing.
