You
Are
Crazy
novy:
I want to send you a song.
One of the best video game songs ever, but you're not around unfortunately.
Shitty ish day today.
Seemed like lots of work and I got almost no sleep last night.
Too much on my mind.
You know.

You who never arrived
in my arms, Beloved, who were lost
from the start,
I don't even know what songs
would please you. I have given up trying
to recognize you in the surging wave of the next
moment. All the immense
images in me- the far-off, deeply-felt landscape,
cities, towers, and bridges, and unsuspected
turns in the path,
and those powerful lands that were...

Understand, I'll slip quietly
Away from the noisy crowd
When I see the pale
Stars rising, blooming over the oaks.

I'll pursue solitary pathways
Through the pale twilit meadows,
With only this one dream:
You come too.

- Rainer Maria Rilke

Hah, awesome one there, that's a real gem.
I could start posting zen quotes for you to read, while you continue with your interesting poems.
I have been very slack with poetry lately, and reading in general actually. Ah well/
I will be mailing your package tomorrow..

who knows if the moon's
a balloon,coming out of a keen city
in the sky--filled with pretty people?
(and if you and i should

get into it,if they
should take me and take you into their balloon,
why then
we'd go up higher with all the pretty people

than houses and steeples and clouds:
go sailing
away and away sailing into a keen
city which...

synnove's post of an e.e. cummings poem has prompted me to post my favorite love poem, which is also by e e cummings.

somewhere i have never travelled, gladly beyond
any experience, your eyes have their silence:
in your most frail gesture are things which enclose me,
or which i cannot touch because they are too near

your slightest look will easily unclose me
though i...

i had the best dream the other night. i was in a field at night and it started to snow big fat flakes. there was nothing and no one around, just complete silence except for the snow falling and the wind blowing. i opened my mouth to catch snowflakes and let them melt on my tongue, and i laughed when they landed on my eyelashes....

Sounds like a very intense dream. I have very strange dreams very often. My boss says I need a creative outlet. Last night my dream was pretty strange. I only remember bits and pieces of it. I remember being in Toys R Us, my boss was there. They were selling the original Final Fantasy III for Super Nintendo for like $30. I picked one of those up and went to buy it and there were lots of people standing around at the checkout area, which was much different looking than the one here. There was some kind of problem which I forgot, but for some reason we were kinda stuck there and they couldn't ring us up. Then all of a sudden it got very very hot. This was something I could feel. There was sweat all over my body, my shirt was sticking to my chest and things like that.
After that, I was at my house and I could zoom in on the activities of a trailer down the road. There were two women running out of the trailer crying because the man there was beating them. Then he ended up in my yard somehow, he was running around and I caught him and beat him repeatedly with a crowbar kind of object. He was kinda knocked out but managed to get up. For some reason there was snow in the backyard and some guy who looked like Mark Twain doing something. I forgot most of the details of it, heh.

Perhaps our souls are made from the same things, I am interested to hear what you have to say about that. There is a definite connection. I likewise have never met anyone with whom I share so much in common.

I got the DVD today, I'll probably drop it in the mail tomorrow or Monday.

Have you ever played Toejam and Earl?? If not, I shall tell you all about it. It's a great game, I love it!! I'd send you one of those too but it's kinda rare and expensive, and on top of that you'd have to have a Sega Genesis to play it. So let's just do it together someday, it's much more fun 2 players anyway.

Complaining is okay. I do it a lot actually. At work I do that a lot, and because I do that, other people complain (one person in particular). About my complaining. But I could care less about them (or him). My having an opinion is better than them (or him) making it up so such persons can fit into a mold that they can't create by themselves. Complaining is individuality, reality. Something only the opinionated can understand..
You're right about money. I've hated money for quite a while now. Office Space is one of my favorite movies. If you haven't seen it, you really should, it has a lot of great ideas behind itself. I used to always talk about how capitalism was the downfall of the world. But no one ever understood that but me. You know what I'm talking about though.
I'm sorry to hear about your various exes and moving experiences. In my experiences exes are bad.
So is moving.

I've bought those tickets in my mind. But in reality monetary kinda things limit me, and the conversation shifts yet again to money. Yeah fuck that. One of these days though I swear I'll get 'em. We seriously need to take it easy for a bit.

About Lost In Translation. I think I will just buy the DVD for you. I have store credit at Borders and it's on sale now. So don't buy it.
"Fuck Soundcheck," diggin it.
Download J. Rawls, "Meniscus," if you can find it, great shit..

"t was approximately 8:47 pm
I was on my way home coming back from the gym
My muscles kind of aching
They felt rigid and stiff
But my mind was at ease from this Coltrane riff"

I think I am too drunk to be coherent at this point. My apologies. You have a good day.

my phone got cut off today, which means i have no internet. i have no intention of paying to get it turned back on at my old house because i'm moving anyway, so i'll be completely back whenever it is that my phone and/or dsl gets hooked up at my new place and my computer gets there too. hopefully in less than a week.

Oh man, SSX 3, my thoughts:
The Graphics are just gorgeous, incredibly smooth, beautiful reflections in the ice and the fluffiness of the snow is extremely well done. This also goes for character design and animations, and the level designs are phenomenal, especially the 30 minute long ones, they really put a lot of work into that part of it.
Possibly my favorite part, the controls are EXTREMELY responsive, I LOVE them. Every survival horror game in history could learn from this game, the controls are so fucking horrible in those games I can barely play them.
I've had SSX3 for 3 days, and I have already maxed out all my stats and beat ALL of the races, just gotta finish freestyles and free rides. I have blisters from this shit.
I have been playing it for like 8+ hours a day. I have no idea but it's just so addicting. I've not been this addicted to a game for..a long time.
Although I bet Xenosaga episode 2 is gonna be worse than this game is.
Ever played Xenosaga??
Sorry for the review, I write game reviews for a local company, I'm a very hardcore gamer, in case you haven't noticed. My new PC comes day after tomorrow, and once that happens and I get it working and after Valkyrie Profile and Hoshigami come in the mail I'm gonna take lots of pictures of my video game collection and post them all over my journal.
I feel pathetic talking this much about video games. I call it nerdy but I guess some people call it passion.
Hope things are going well for you.
Ah yeah, looks like I can get all the parts for a version 4 PS2 to build you if you want it.

Funny you should mention that. I was thinking that mind control would be even better than being able to become invisible at will.
Once again, I don't think I can apologize enough for last night, I'm so sorry!!

i stand downtown with all the other people at midnight after the countdown reaches one, watching fireworks raining bright colors against the black sky. all around me people drunkenly kiss, embrace, smile, sing. the time seems to slow like all other midnights on december 31st as far back as i can remember. i stand feeling small in my black hooded coat, blinking at the crowds....

New Years always hold expectations of differing times. It always makes me somber when the countdown ends because I know nothing will change.

Well on that note it was nice seeing a little post from you. Thanks for the compliment sweets.

the waking parts of my mind are loosely wound skeins of schemes
as slowly slips from my grip the thread at the edge of my dreams
wherein you were about to give
the answer
and interrupted abruptly
i let go to bells, laughter, the sound of birds
my life becomes
an incomplete sentence
a book unfinished
a promising look on the way out the door...
