Those 5 questions were:
Who am I?
What do I do?
Who do I do it for?
What do those people want and need?
How are they different after I've done what I do?
That line of thought changes the answer to the question a stranger may ask, "so, what do you do?" from I'm an author to I write stories for children so they can fall asleep at night. Your new response changes his or her reply to that from "well I'm an architect" or what have you, to "well how do you do that?" and that gives you the satisfaction of knowing your purpose is worth the struggle it took to master the answer to number 2.
