The sun was shining on the sea
Shining with all his might
He did his very best to make
The billows smooth and bright
And this was odd because
It was the middle of the Night

I took my mum out for Mother's Day lunch but on the way, as we rolled off the top of the hills we live on, I was awe-struck by this sight...
It was blowing a gale; the land fell away below us and under the deep grey sky the sun slanted in and lit the sea so brightly that the glow illuminated the clouds and turned the land all but black.
We see it every day, yet still the world can leave us open-mouthed...
It's what photographers love; to be surrounded by the startling. And it's why we keep visiting you all here; so much startling beauty in one place.
Ciao, you lovely people!
Albion.
