Emotional blackmail for the elderly in a United of Omaha commercial. Have you seen the one where a nice, well-dressed young man says that caring parents don't want to saddle their grown children with their burial expenses and other debts. I don't mind a commercial that reminds people that they'll have "Final Expenses", but I wish they wouldn't stoop to suggest that if one of our relatives kicks the bucket unexpectedly that the best thing we'll have to say about them is "Hey, wasn't grandma that old broad who was too thoughtless to take care of burying herself?" Older people already seem to have a tendancy to be worried that we'll tire of taking care of them, or stop visiting them because we're too busy, and other various paranoias that our youth-worshipping culture have encouraged, but geez, insurance companies, lay off the "Final Expenses" guilt trip.
