Magnet magazine. Antony and The Johnsons.
(Let's imagine this were a scene from a movie. Right now is the part when someone says something clever, and someone else chimes in with an "awwwww shit, son". Fade to black, and lets have a few quick cuts before we get back to any semblance of actual dialogue.)
Better yet, let's have a montage. If they're good enough for Trey Parker and Matt Stone, then I'm sure one is good enough for my standards.
Watching anything with Audrey Tautou in it makes me happy. She's in the upcoming film "The Da Vinci Code". I'm not so sure that's going to be doing anything for me, but I'm going to see it regardless now that I know she's going to be in it. I'm a nerd like that. I was so determined not to see it.
It's like the overwhelming shit smell of manure when you visit a farm. It's everywhere and you can't get away from it, so you ignore it, and eventually it doesn't bother you anymore. That's how I had planned on avoiding that film, but I guess I'm going to have to see it now.
Sigh. Maybe everyone is right. Maybe it IS good. Who knows. I will. That shit comes out a few days after my birthday, I think...
It doesn't matter anyway though, because I can still watch "Amelie" over and over, and never get tired of it.
There's been a lot of cops out lately at night for some reason. It's not as if Fayetteville is experiencing a rash of midnight burglaries or an upswing of crime in general after ten PM. I don't understand it, really... Then again, it's not my job to do so. I'll leave it to the people who get paid to think about that kind of shit.
It is, however, severely curtailing my nighttime downtown skating "sessions"...
Good night.

I know the town I'm in has gone to that technique. will even write speeding tickets for my town, so the points don't go on your license, and the fines go to the town and not the state and town!
go figure!
