It's grocery day and so the house is now filled with food goodness. I'm just getting ready to make some steamed mussels and fried rice for dinner. It was a pretty busy day so it will be good to just sit down and eat.
After grocery shopping, we picked up my four year old nephew and took him to the museum. The exhibit right now is "Rebels and Rides" and there were all sorts of motorcycles (which he really likes). He pretty much ran through the whole museum without looking at much besides the motorcycles though and then he was off to find something else to do.
We walked him over to the planetarium and bought him some astronaut ice cream. He only ate a bite, which made me happy because I got to eat the rest. Then he wanted to walk over to the art museum (though I'm pretty sure he doesn't even know what art is). They were installing a new piece outside so they had a giant crane and he didn't really care about any of the paintings, he just had to see the crane. He stood up against the window with his face pressed against, watching and a guy from the newspaper took a picture of him. I'm sure it will end up with some caption like "Even little kids are excited about the art!" or something, but he really just cared about the crane.
After that it was time to take him back home even though he really did not want to go. He tried to talk us into a trip to the toy store, but I still wanted to have enough money to get to work this week so that was out of the question. He's one of those kids who can sniff out the most expensive toy in the whole place so it's best not to even go there.
Okay, that's my boring ass update.

Hey, i really want too thank you for commenting on some of my blogs. Sometimes i just ramble on and bunch up words, which ultimately, gets me more confused. I guess some words are better than none. Seems like i hear it all the time, "don't bottle up your emotions, let it all out".
anyway, thanks
