Yay! Finally got all moved in with the Fiance. The dog and the cat seem to be getting along fine. There were two cats but one of them died a week after we moved in due to kidney failure. It was very sad.
Then my Xbox 360 up and dies. The dreaded red ring of death. It happens the day before Guitar Hero Metallica comes out. So now i gotta send it in to get fixed. Fortunately its a free fix since its Microsofts fault for rushing shitty hardware to market to try and beat Sony PS3. But now it means no console/ DVD player for at least 3 weeks.
Then there was a three week ordeal in which i didn't have my DSL hooked up for 3 weeks after wwe moved in due to a domino like effect of errors and mixups by AT&T. This was very frustrating and made it very difficult to do my job since i often work from home. It was even affecting my ability to works via wi fi hotspots at Starbucks since my DSL account got disconnected from my old place and was affecting my login. I literally spent hours on the phone trying to get it all sorted out. I hate them so much.
But now everything seems to be up and runnig so i can resume my normal activities. I also plan on redoing my whole website and trying to get better at self promotion. I also need to schedule some shoots with some hopefuls and and at least one current SG.
I am on the lookout for some new (and free) places to shoot potential SG sets. Maybe a bar/club during the day or a studio space with some privacy or a cool apartment with some cool furniture...whatever. If anyone has any ideas let me know. Its not really worth it for me to pay for a location since i don't really make a whole lot doing them but i'm more that willing to give a shout out or a "Location courtesy of..." credit.
Also tried getting 2 tickets to see Metallica at the AAC in September. I was gonna try to get them as a birthday present for the fiance. They went on sale at noon today and like two minutes later i was only being offered seats in the 300 sections. Basically nosebleeds for full price. No fucking way. Its ridiculous. The total would have been close to $200 after all the convenience charges and parking. Fuck ticketmaster. Just out of curiosity i logged onto eBay shortly after and tickets were already being offered in the 100 sections for hundreds of dollars. Ridiculous. How does that happen? This is why i don't go to shows anymore. Except when i get to shoot them. Fuck 'em. Lars doesn't need my money.
Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well. Be good to each other.

I have a pretty sweet loft near uptown now, but I don't know if it's especially photo shoot worthy, although a few naked ladies would really brighten the place up
