The good thing about not having any enemies is when someone leaves death threats on your answering machine, you can be pretty certain it's a wrong number.

another good thing about not having any enemies is when you call and leave a death threat, they'll never think it was you.

this of course begs the question, why would you be calling someone who wasn't your enemy to leave a death threat. and to answer that, all i can really tell you in regards to this matter is, sometimes it's business, and not to be taken personally.

I visited the hills again last night. This time instead of tears, I tasted the night Jasmine through my nose. Sometimes you can smell the flowers even when you don't mean to.

Tonight I'll show my SF friends what I do on the trapeze. It's about time.

I rode my motorcycle through the hills of San Francisco tonight. My favorite area to ride is Corona Heights and Twin Peaks. It's one of the few places within the city with sweeping curves, no stop signs, and light traffic.

I thought about going to Cell Space to see a friend's band play. I thought about going to another friend's movie night. I thought about...

oh, my dearest xep. i love you so very much. i feel a heaviness similar to that of which you spoke so very often lately. i wish i could take all of the pain you feel and make it my own, freeing you to ride your fancy motorcycle about corona heights with not a thought in your pretty little head. i find it helps to sit with the periodic agony, let it wash over me until i feel it consume me entirely, and it always seems to subside then as i'm filled with the knowledge that i can withstand it. have a glass of wine and think of me tonight.

xep, we are not anti-circus! i love trapezy goodness and humans performing. we will eventually put up a page with info about animals in circuses and how bad it is. i think that badge needs a little clarification!

i don't believe in anything right now. that includes the good of humanity, the greed of capitalism, honesty between friends, and kittens.

I just went to the corner store to buy a packet of yeast. Here is the conversation that took place:

Me: Do you carry yeast?
Saad: Eeeeeast?
Me: Yes, yeast, for baking.
Saad: Yes, that is what I said. Yeast, for making bread (makes hand gestures of kneading bread).
Me: Yes. Do you carry it?
Saad: You see, you are trying to live the traditional...

gregor cut my hair on saturday night. he cut about 10 inches off. it took 5 years to grow out and then in the spur of a moment it was gone. i thought i would be in shock or regret the decision but to be honest, i haven't even thought about it at all. when i was younger, if i cut my hair, i would...

I had long hair for, like, my whole life. And for the longest time, I kept talking about cutting, it, and I just never went out and did it. So one night (this was a couple of years ago), with my hair in a pony tail, I handed my husband (then fiancee) the scissors and told him to just cut it. I went to the salon and got it evened out the next day, but I never regretted doing it. It is a million times easier to deal with.

biggrin

Howdy howdy

I've been cutting hair tonight, as well, my friend Jon and I have roughly the same haircuts now, but somehow his is far more suitable. The Venerable Bob. Wonder if i'll ever think of something new to do with my head. miao!!

Argh, more dreams about girls. I am going boi crazy. I was in a book store this time, rolling around on the worn wood floor and watching the movements of a well dressed androgyne. Hmm. That one has a pretty obvious origin though as there is a hotty dyke handbalancer who works in a bookstore that I oggle from the trapeze. (How humiliating would it...

Heya Soraya! I have a fantasy about having a warehouse
or store front space where I can hang a trapeze and teach all the people who can't or don't want to go to the school here. If it ever happens, I'd love to work with your insane schedule. smile

gah, I know what you mean. Even when you try to think about something else...well, it's useless really.

le saw someone on the subway that she thought might be the walking dead. i love thinking about that. sometimes when i have a near miss, say, while crossing the street in front of a bus or when my rear tire slips out from under me but i recover, i wonder if maybe it wasn't a near miss... maybe i did die and have been...

I was so moved by Bailey's beautiful bruises that i spent the evening attempting to beat the hell out of myself on the trapeze. i stripped to my skivvies to ensure maximum friction burns and decided to teach myself the neck hang after telling myself for years that i'd never do it. it was almost successful and some nice bodily injury did in fact occur....
