Have you ever thought about how people change each other, and themselves when in a relationship. SOmetimes it's minor changes and sometimes it's more profound kinda "who-i-am" changes.
I really wonder why we sometimes change a little or nothing at all, and just down the road we change everything we are.
I've written something about this:
You tear away from this,
unwilling to partake, so fake,
distantiate yourself from a full life,
to regain consciousness without bliss.
attempts to relive what never was,
you cradle inhumane desires,
threaten and curse all that ever thrived,
to remain betrayer of life's buzz.
tearing yourself seamlessly apart,
from destiny, love, ideas of God,
dancing the rhythm that never stood,
to never again find your shattered heart.
