This month I've been cleaning social house. Discarding friendships that aren't worth all the effort I put into them, starting new ones with interesting people, and making time for old friends I haven't seen in a while. Needless to say, I've been pretty busy. I've actually had to start using a day timer as I don't have enough memory to store all of my plan-data.
I have a job interview on Sunday at a fancy restaurant. I hope I get it as I could really use the extra cash. This whole business of half my earnings going to rent (just rent, not utilities etc) really kinda sucks. That's one thing I do miss about my ex - the extra income in the house! I know it sounds really bad, but it was really nice to be able to buy the things I need for myself. Right now I'm living off of credit and overdraft. If I go out or buy things then I eat pasta for the rest of the month. Or if I eat well I can't afford to buy new shoes or clothes - which I desperately need right now. In two years I've gone from a size 1X (16ish) down to a small (size 5). I dropped 3 dress sizes since May alone. I look like a clown! But that's life I guess. I shouldn't really complain so much. I'm sure there's plenty of people out there in much worse situations than myself. It's just a difficult lifestyle adjustment.
Thankfully I have lots of pasta here at my apartment. Today I'm going to my friend's house to get my hair done because I look like a scraggamuffin. No one likes a scragamuffin. Blueberry muffins on the other hand....
Just getting some blonder highlights put in. Then my hair will glow under black light. Yay for glowing!
Speaking of getting my hair done, I should put some pants on and head to the bus! It takes about half an hour to get to my friend's place.
