No news on my friend. Police have the FBI involved now and they are talking to a "person of interest" who "is cooperating" but still no closer to solving this thing... Grrrr.

Thanks a bunch, I appreciate that... her service was Friday last week. They showed so many pictures of her growing up... so hard to believe that someone that was just so "Full of Life" was taken too soon.

So, that vacation was way too brief! But it was great! I loved kayaking on the lake... damned my ass hurt the day after! It was great seeing the nieces and loved introducing them to noodle fighting. Can't wait to see them again in November... this time on their turf in California!

In three hours I'm out of here! Heading to Blind River Ontario for a small family gathering. Mapquest says it'll take me 15 hours to drive but I'm sure I can do it in 12... okay, maybe 13. Sadly trip will be brief since I must be back here to teach Monday morning... just hopefully I'll be getting my AC fixed by then.
