Spring cleaning is a pain in the ass, augmented when you run into shit that you thought you had gotten rid of ages ago. Apparently I thought that most of my notes from college would somehow be useful to me in the future. Had I gone to graduate school right away, they may have been, but I doubt it. I went through everything from my senior year. I'm glad things have turned out well for me now, because I largely wasted that part of my life. I found some non-academic stuff too.
I forgot there existed a picture of me and my friend Jon. If anyone from Pittsburgh is reading this, he's in Singine. I need to go see that fucker! Most of my corruption is a result of his influence, directly or otherwise.
I ran into a few souvenirs from Europe. Train tickets, hostel receipts, little scraps that I could tie in with something... Oh, to go back to Germany! (And oh, to get in touch with those poor people who haven't heard from me for 3 years. I feel so fucking GUILTY about that!)
A letter from Heather, the best girlfriend I never met (It was a distance thing. My real relationship is so much better).
Items from my friend George's memorial service. Why, why, why?
A thank-you card from K, who was like a sister to me, whom I haven't gotten to talk to in about 2 years.
*sigh*. Now I'm nostalgic. Maybe I can go home for a couple of days over my upcoming break.
