My knee is all better now. I'll be ready in 2 months. I'm thinking about doing the Rock & Roll marathon in San DIego, too.

sallyseersucker:
Oh, hell no!
I looked over the marathon foto pics from Hawaii. Let's just say they are not flattering!
(I did put a couple of Hawaii pics on myspace though)

Wow...It has been a long time...

It is now the hot hot summer and I am stuck in my office most of the time...

I am going to a wedding in Savannah GA and maybe a trip home as well as to Ireland...That is about all...

I got into myspace over the last two months...It is cool to connect with friends across the way on...

Hey, there!
Yeah, I'm a clumsy one. I got hurt running, but I'm back on track running 5 miles four times during the week and once with my new team! smile

This is my first attempt at doing anything athletic since the 8th grade so it's a little scary.

Hope your summer is going well!
sallyseersucker:
Happy Birthday.

Well...I went to Country Thunder this weekend...A laundry list of nashville country musicians...Besides the annoying coming out of non-Cowboys and girls..every Tom Dick and Harry in a hat for a day tryin to get back or revive their hick roots...but it was still pretty fun....Travis Tritt was worth the price of my free tix...He was really the only good one...Brooks and Dunn are...

all is good in the world...well...surprisingly not the weather...

shekinah is apparently okay...on travel and still on SG so that is swell...

I was in Berkeley and at the Grand Canyon over the last few weeks...cool winds and overall good experiences...
Love that sea breeze near the bay...but the bus is quite the social experience meaning there are a lot of diverse and downright wacky...

I am so sad about shekinah 's state of health and leaving the site...Ugh...

I never interacted with her in the way I should have, but she truly touched me with her daily journal entries .. a fascinating, fun, beautiful person ... surprising to be moved by a stranger's words, emotions...

On a lighter note...I am tan and getting work done...and AJ is still a...

Hey hey....

I told my girlfriend that I was a SG member this past weekend...Of course I joined while I was single long before we started dating...

She joked that I was a perve at first...Then seemed a little weird about it but then told me that she thought that it was another sign of how honest and open I am with her...
She took...

Shekinah absolutely has the greatest, most deep feeling and intellectual journal entries of any member I have read on this site...

That gal is deep ... there is a sparkeling, sometimes tragic, romantic subtext to nearly all of her poems and personal accounts and lists and...

WOW!!

Tucson is really warm too soon ... but the wind blows cool on my face as I ride...

It's in the mid 80's over here too. I think we had like 2 weeks of "winter."

Love schmuv. I think I may be too fickle frown

biggrin We just had our bike shipped from Mississippi. It's great to have it back! biggrin

I am in KC...

Whoa it is actually nice weather o'er here!

Got some BBQ and Italian and some familia...pero no tengo mi chicita, mis bebidas favoritas, o mis montanas...

Just for a week in these parts then back home to a planned wild weekend of friends, football, and parties...

It seems all good ... and how are you?
shadowfire:
OOO, I love it when you speak in tongues! kiss
toxii:

shekinah:
Another round of grad school isn't a dream, per se. More just a notion that I play around with from time to time. I already have one Master's degree that I don't even need for my small business (which, by the way, sometimes involves horses). I just like the idea of being back in school. Who knows, I might go back in 20 years and be a chemist then.

Getting married wouldn't get in the way of grad school. I was married when I was 21 and still finished college and grad school. Unfortunately, that didn't work out quite as planned. I think that experience has made me gun shy and wary of going back down the aisle. I do love the man but I think we need some time to sort things out before I go on that trip again.

You know what I miss most about AZ? Running in the desert. I went to ASU and ran daily on the trails in South Mountain and all around the area. I also miss the view from the Mogollon Rim.

shekinah:
I ran the Rock'n'Roll 1/2 marathon in Phoenix a few years back. I'm considering getting back on the 1/2 marathon training program but my knee keeps killing me.

What's the name of the race in Apache Junction? One of my long time friends in AZ is a frequent marathoner.
