well i hope you get out early tonight.
i went to school, sat thru a boring lecture that anyone with half a brain would know about (however, appariently the requirement for this class is that you only half 25% of your brain. which i was unaware of when i signed up). these people asked the same question over and over again... they just didn't get it.

now, taking a break before reading the "sociological scientific journal"... sounds like loads of fun huh?
do u think it's to early to drink?
tovah:
i need to find that man and marry him.. or at least get him in my classes, if only for amusments sake

evidence of Tj dorkiness: my AIM has been up for 14 days, 1 hour, and 16 minutes (though almost 90% of the time as away)...

i'm surprised my comp hasn't gone all "fuck you beeyotch" and then skull'd.

question of the day: do you think it's a good idea to hide one's ability to do something?

Yes, because if you do not, then people will always expect you help them with your "skill", and you will become immensely resentful.

Thanks so much for the link, I've been laughing nearly nonstop since I checked it out. smile

One day, surreal decided to go for a walk in the park. It was a sunny day, and surreal thought it'd be a good time to get out and exercise.

While getting ready to go for the walk, miao!! called surreal. This made surreal a bit uncomfortable, as miao!! was prone to fits of scratching. miao!! assured surreal that it wouldn't happen.

miao!! agreed to meet surreal at the park fifteen minutes...

greenpeace is protesting a boat that's carring a cargo of gm beans... and the boat is named 'global wind'... nice.

mission: sell-a-lot-of-pictures-and-get-rich began last night with the planting of a few important seeds and asking a couple questions. not surprisingly, i can't go all bling bling with a display at work, but have to resort to word of mouth. fine by me. i don't want...

They monkey can be found in SQP's jounral, right at the end. Of couse it would have been better if the aforementioned monkeys were wearing diapers and throwing poop, but you can't have everything.
Re censorship, I firmly believe kids should get information from each other, otherwise we would have a dreadful shortage of teen pregnancy porn.

I suspect I have sort of a warped perspective on these things, as my dad was a sex counselor when I was very young. Our "this is what sex is" talk came in the form of a photographic book for kids (I think I was 5 when they first showed it to me?), including reasonably detailed pictures. Though on the other hand, I was 18 and with the guy I'd end up marrying when I finally had sex the first time. Cause and effect? You be the judge. wink

Well, the in-a-nutshell of the "algae" thing is, the more bizarre-ass non-marketing words they can include, the more they'll throw off spam filters. Except that now I think spam filters account for that as well. I'm on this "anti-spam" mailing list where we swap stories of techniques spammers use... if they were putting this ingenuity to some good use, imagine all we could accomplish!

Oh, and they did indeed, my friend. My face nearly melted from all the rockin' goodness coming at it.

Algae? The things those crazy spammers will do to pass Bayesian filters...

Things come and go, and as it is, I happen to be going.

It's been a pleasure.

I love running into people like that, I haven't really gotten to do that since I moved to Stumptown. One of the benefits of living in a smaller town I suppose.

My whiskey-poison of choice these days seems to be Wild Turkey Rye. Strooooong. Not something to pull out late in the evening, I found this out the hard way... blackeyed If you're gonna do strong, start strong.
Everybody seems to be making manhattans out of that stuff these days, I don't understand that. It's supposed to be made with Rye!

all 3 sound good to me
