I would look at him when both our doors were open and think.......

Hi, darling!

Being a week without the internet? I would have killed myself.

Why don't you do sit-ups or something...or do laps around the shack!

Sorry...I tried...

Well, this journal update is actually me procrastinating. I am going to finish up my Pharmacology project today, so I am done a week early - woohoo!!
I have 1 more project and 2 mid-terms still this month.
And I have to go back to work for awhile...I figured out I can work 12 days in a month and have my bills covered, then IF...

Well - I haven't lived there in about 10 years but my parents and sister (who is a firefighter) still live there. I try to make it out at least 3-4 times a year to visit....infact - I'll be there at the end of the monthsmile

Oh hey. Thanks. I think my "official" anniversary was last week or so, but I don't know. I had meant to do a journal about that.

Anyway, thanks again. Good luck studying.

The only pointers I'd give you is review as much work as possible before selecting your artist. I'd also try to attend a convention somewhere so you can see a wide range of artists. As far as internet sites go I could list off some of my favorite artists, but none of them are in Canada, let alone Alberta. I've traveled a state over to get work from someone I wanted to get work from. You're getting it for life so a little travel and extra expense is well worth getting a tattoo you'll be happy with for life. And to get the best thing in this style, fly to Japan and visit Horiyoshi III. wink

So life is pretty boring these days, I am back out in the Oil Fields while trying STILL to get a new job.
I sit and study in a pickup truck for 10 hrs a day....in scorching heat...fun fun....
the ONLY redeeming factor is I am making $265/day....no matter how many hrs I work (up to 12hrs , then overtime) and yesterday and the day...

Well, how optimistic and upbeat - have a stiff upper lip and such- do you have to be before you can be bitter, resentful and angry???

I have been working my ass off to get a new job in my chosen profession for over 3 months now....I have been sending out over 20 resumes approx every 3 weeks to all the EMS services I know...

No, i did not say the FDA, i said the RDA... HUGE difference- the RDA is a recommended Daily Allowance...

yeah, supplements so need some form of regulation in a huge way in both what they can contain and how they can be marketted- there is a lot of bad stuff out there that shadows what the good stuff can do in a diet.

But whether you like the FDA or not, you have to function by them as otherwise you can get in trouble legally... Liability suits are huge in the U.S.

Which part did you not agree on? The amount of protein? That's the thing, and why I got so pissed off in that first thread on it... So many people have differing opinions and differing info, the problem seems to be that in these groups oftne people attack each other rather thna post their sources and go about attacking the data rather than the opinions.... does that make sense?

I get to clean up that mess about every third or fourth thread that is not about something fluff like luna bars or favourite soy milks.
lilyk:
if you want to know more on the FDA and opinions, i invite you to start a topic on that- since it will be all opinion, then no one can really be that bad on linking things wink

I'm gonna miss it here, I cancelled my membership effective june 25 (i think) ....the reason is I spend way too much time on here and not enough studying and livin' life.
I get addicted to it, and I love the threads and groups that get going.....but so I don't totally waste $16,000 in schooling, I need to get outta here for awhile......so sad frown

Certainly not the only one. there are enough of us to keep things limping along. I've especially noticed the sudden lack of Canadians. We only have so many days when we don't HAVE to be on the computer I guess.
