Things I've done in the past three days.

Made jambalaya.
Threw an iron at someone.
Rode my bike 40 miles.
Saw Bruce Almighty.
Sliced my foot open.
Threw a potted plant at someone.
Mailed in a payment for my Esquire subscription.
Discovered Leonard Cohen.
Had my pants altered.
Wrote a song.

Holy fucking shit. I just saw The Man Who Loved Women for the first time. I'm speechless. This is one of the best movies I have ever seen.

And that book I've been meaning to write... to try to explain who I am... it's moot.

Amazing. Frigtening. Disturbing. Lovely.

Allright, who wants to buy Eddie Grumble?

He's been good to me, but it's time to let go. He's gone to St. Louis, Milwaukee, the drive-in, the police impound yard. Ohhh.

I love travel so much that I actually applied for a job at United yesterday. The process was awful, especially the 197 question customer-service phych test. It was hard to figure out just how honest to be. I mean, come on, I'm not going to say that I respond to nasty, loud, upset customers with a shit eating grin, but I don't want to admit...

Yeah - I want to hear more about this art gallery because I need advice. I have no idea what I'm doing.
n:
oh i didn't know that you were planning to open an art gallery. cool. you know i used to so dread the idea of having to approach galleries in order to show my work that i seriously considered starting my own, partly for that purpose. you may laugh- everyone else does...

Ahh yes. So even though I was very, very, very antisocial yesterday, I managed to dress myself up and be the Metro/Smart Bar prom date I was expected to be. It turned out to be a lot of fun. I drank so much good gin and danced very, very foolishly. I fear for what I may have done or said, but that's usually my earmark...

It takes quite a self-centered person to hate life while standing over someone else's grave... but that's me.

Today my family went out to my father's grave. Lately, I've been feeling like I'm at the absolute lowest point of my life, so I wasn't terribly enthused about making this journey today. I hoped that, at least, I would snap out of my funk and think...

So I just posted some pics from the Stray Show last weekend.

We quickly learned just how inept we are at hanging art. Not only the act of hanging, but we hung it at just the right height for a giant (like me) to view it at, totally shunning small people. We barely got done in time for the big opening was on Friday night....

what happened on coney island that made you want to cry?
aster:
i love busy, crazy art openings! i haven't been to one in too, too long.

someone complained that i hung all my art too low at home (i hung everything at midget height because i am tiny). so now i overcompensate by hanging it all at your height.

People. Visit my booth at the Stray Show. Just look for the one with all the naked girls.

That is... look for the booth with all the naked girls on the walls, and all of the real-life girls being repelled away by said photos.

Today I chaperone an 8th grade class trip to D.C.

I've never been there myself, but I want the tour to be like, "this is the Hagen Daaz where Henry Rollins and Ian MacKay worked."
