lunch with lori AND victorian antiques? it sounds like a dream. I'd just be coming from St. Louis. If I can get up there that weekend I would totally be up for it...the antiques intrigue me more than lori does so if i can't do that i will for sure go there.

On Sunday August 8th, The Modernist Society will be putting on a road rally/dance party called A Century of Progress.

Yow. I'm getting excited for the big night. However, in trying to doll up my little apartment for a houseguest, I improperly installed some cantilevered shelves, which then collapsed, shattering my laptop into many pieces.
