As far as steering you in a direction music wise, feel free to take the catacombs of hell route. Think in terms of using it as background noise for creating art. If I want to create chaotic art, give me something chaotic. For drawing serene landscapes, give me something with a beauty to it. obviously for both, lyrics need to be uncluttered if they are there at all. I'm such a word freak I would stop painting in order to listen to the lyrics!

Yep, saw the Phil Mid-Life Crisis pic today at work, in the La Perla issue of Industry. No one so far over a twinkable age should attempt that hair.
