Oops, I moved recently and that has played havoc with my finances. My account is short and so my renewal of SG is going to lapse a few weeks until I get things straightened out. I'll see people again soon.

confused Hope you come back soon, just wanted to let you know your diet advise inspired me! wink Thanks

Well, I haven't been able to get on SG for a while due to various issues, but here I am. So much going on, most of which I'll keep to myself haha. I will say that I'm sort of re-dedicating myself to myself. For the past year I've been eating right (by and large) and I've lost a TON of weight. Now I'm following that...

I love it when other people have self interested goals, too. Being dedicated to yourself is an awesome thing. I need to get back to that.

Whew, been a while since my last update. Well, I moved out of the place I had been staying. My fears about my roommate being on crack seems to be right on, and she has gotten pretty bad. Actually, we were getting evicted anyways since she basicly stopped paying her half of the rent.

Luckily for me I have a really great friend who is...

"Croctopus" That's great. lol
You sound like a great guy. I'm 24 next month, and I already feel like I've nothing to show for myself(except my 2 brilliant little boys). I don't think it's an age thing. I think if you're a person with high standards you'll always be somewhat dissatisfied with your own accomplishments.
As for dating, you shouldn't see age as a barrier. My husband was 32 when we got together(closer to my mother's age than mine yet more mature than her). Anyway what matters is that you can relate to where a person is comming from, have a similar background or view of things. If you have chemistry and a connection age won't matter.
Happy belated B-day.

I ut up some new pics. Couple new pics of me, a few of my family taken at Christmas, and one of my roommate's son.

Speaking of my roommate, she's still a mess. Denies being on drugs, even though we know she is from one of her friends. Her life is still a mess, and she's back seeing the guy who got her into all...

I was hit by a bomb last night. My friend of ten years, and current roommate, is on Crack.

This is a female friend (actually an ex girlfriend from sooo long ago that that part of our past is almost forgotten), with a 14 year old son. She has always been erratic, often times with bewildering bad judgement, but responsible enough to not let it...

That's a really tough situation. It sounds like you want the kid to live with you (reading between the lines)Ask him what he wants to do. Talk to the dad and the brother. If they didn't have a problem with the kid and the mom living with you, they shouldn't have a problem with you being around the kid. As long as its reasonable, try to go with what the kid wants.

never took any classes... want to tho... But I'm poor...

Did you take classes?

Ah New Years. I was originally planning on making it as far as Portland (Maine) and hanging out with my brother and his friends, but the weather conspired against me. I then decided that a quiet New Years at home would be fine. By 9pm though I realized that the weather was now fine, so I decided a quiet New Years at a bar downtown...

Whew, got back from Maine yesterday. Got to see everyone, and I had a lot of fun until the day I left...

Got into a big fight with my mom on the last day. My mom is a horrible nag at times, and can make simple things very unpleasant due to her NEEDING to have everyone do things her way. My poor sister is 22...

I think I'll try to put your advice into action next time the opportunity arises. Hell, it can't hurt to try, right?

Well, tonight I head to Maine to visit the family for Christmas. I won't be anywhere near a computer. How will I survive?

Sounds like you guys had a blast. I'll have fun no doubt, but I WILL go through computer withdrawal. When you work on a computer all day, and spend much of your time at home either creating art on the computer, surfing the net and trolling message boards, or playing online games, you start to wonder how you ever lived without a computer hehe.

Have a good time. I love Maine. I hope to live there someday.

Well, Thursday was crazy at work, so I didn't want to squeeze in a date invite. Friday was better, but as fate would have it a friend I rarely see came to visit me at work, and monopolized my time all afternoon, ruining any opportunity there. So was all lost? Well, not exactly.

Although it was less than ideal, I "met" up with her in...

Asked the girl from 2 posts down if she wanted to join me tonight for what I had planned (King Kong, and going out to a club). She declined saying weeknights weren't good, as she tries to get to sleep by 10. She says weekends are better. So, did I get blown off with the lamest excuse ever (I need to get to bed by...

Any luck with the chick? Did you try asking her out this weekend, or are you going to wait a bit? Sometimes we women aren't very clear and it's something I have had to learn to get better at since I deal with so many men at work now. hehehe.

It was good to talk with you, and I wish you luck in your search. What is it that you are thinking of getting on yourself? I designed all my tats, but part of letting someone else tattoo them on you is that you let them have their own creative license with it. It kind of releases you from worrying that your style has changed over the years and your drawings have gotten better. The tattoos just become a part of who you are; living history. And since it had someone else's artistic sense swirled in with your design, it's easier to accept and enjoy the piece as it is instead of critiquing it. biggrin
thedweller:
Brankauti, thanks for stopping by hehe.

You can read above for the continuing saga with this gal, as I will post an update in a few moments.

As to the tattoo, I've been wanting to do an elaborate design for the shoulder and upper arm, but I haven't settled on the specifics of that yet. In the meantime I figured I will start smaller with a zombie for the other arm, this one planned for the forearm somewhere. Still settling on the exact design, but I'm thinking a more stylized cartoonish approach. I chose a zombie as I'm well known for my zombie obsession, equalled only by my love of monkeys and apes hehe.

Anyways, I'm posting an update to the date developements now.
