Some new things ::::

*) My sister's trailer for Kinsey is now on QuickTime's website. Fun!

%) I am nearly finished with my Gryffindor scarf which I am knitting for my Halloween Costume. I think going as Harry Potter will do me well.

#) I went to the eye doctor two weeks ago, and she said that I don't need glasses anymore. I think my...

Wait, you don't need glasses anymore? That rules! I wonder how that happened?

What design are you getting for your chest tattoo?

I have new shoes. Hurrah. I told a friend of mine yesterday, when we were both sitting at the shoe store, "Had I the money, I would dress like a 50's pin-up queen all the time." She told me I could pull it off.

The two of us have inordinately large feet. She wears a size eleven, and I wear a size twelve. So, finding...

In this journal, there was to be:

1) A profound discussion on how reading about meditation and yoga practices (in Yoga Journal) have made me grow so much in my practice.

2) A serious amount of love for men and women who boldly go where no Undone has gone before: To the Republican National Convention.

3) A discussion on how Wendy's does not agree with...

Heehee... I love the Monty Python reference. Have I proved my geekiness? And I vote no in platinum blonde. But that's just me.

I have been having more and more fantasies aboutt the boyfriend making headway at work, or becoming a famous artist or another.
In these fantasies, he makes enough money so that I don't really have to work. But, with my amazing work ethic and drive to be active, I go out and seek work at a piercing parlor or a coffee shop or a record...

So, what have I done today?

-Vacation Day from work. (hooray!)
-Walked about six miles. (more hooray!)
-Ate vegetables and rice for dinner. (and there was much rejoicing)
-Went to the library for the first book in the Discworld Series. (convulsive hoorays)
-Came home covered in sweat. (not so hooray)
-Hung out with best friends, brother, and boyfriend. (massive hooray)
-Have scrubbie brushes running through...

Nerding out is amazing.
Being with friends and younger, cooler than yourself siblings is also amazing.
I have been away for a while. I have been rolling up characters, talking about college, and remember what it's like again to throw back my head and be amazed by every single thing the world brings me ... every single day.

I tried playing some Vice City, but at this point, even I've played it to death.

I needs me some San Andreas.

Well, I'm getting my new computer in a few days. Maybe I'll fire up Doom 3 in some high res glory and really get some frustrations out.

So, we found a sapphire. We found the most beautiful, oddly shaped (it's a very long oval), oddly cut (so it's more "brilliant" on one side than the other), gorgeous thing I have ever seen. The jeweler allowed me to take the stone outside, a $1,500 stone into the street, and look it in the sunlight. My stomach flip flopped and I lost my breath...

I think you can be a feminist and still want pretty things. Personally, I'm a fan of the diamond, they sparkle so pretty like.

The boyfriend and I are both tall people. He's six foot five, I'm five foot ten. So, when looking online for houses in our price range, much of what we're seeing are Cape Cods. Which is all well and good, if you're five six or five four, but I would rather not spend my hours upstairs whacking my forehead on celings.

Also: I just bought...

When I am feeling under the weather for whatever reason, I dress up to the nines and go for a walk.

Being that I had a cavity spanning two molars filled earlier this morning, and have just now regained feeling (and thus pain) back in my lip: I have put on a halter top and a skirt and high heels.

And I am spending...
