So, I find out Friday if I got into a show in Ohio; it is exciting but nerve wracking as only 11 people nationwide got into it last year.

So a couple weeks ago I got all excited because I got in my first juried show. Well... at that show I won honorable mention AND the piece sold the first night. So I got $300 for the piece and another $100 for the award. Also.. found out I won the Viewer's Choice award, so another $100!!! I am still in shock.. over 250 pieces...

Ok; I'm 3/4 of the way done with my second wire shoe. Then I just have to finish spray painting the bx and we will be good to go. So good to go that I will be submitting it to an art show this weekend. Cross your fingers.. pictures soon!

I just over-caramelized my teriyaki eggplant. (i.e. it is a bit burnt) Oh well.
