I checked out your page because I like what you wrote about Slayer- sorry to hear about what you're going through. I've been through it also and I know there's NOTHING I can say that'll make things seem to have some kind of fucking sense.

I completely feel for you, I had much the same thoughts when my brother was slowly wasting away. He fought so hard, he accomplished so much in his short life, while mine was very much being frittered away for lack of my own courage and motivation. I can't really tell you how it came out, I don't think it's particularly relevant to this situation. But really, all that pain and being strong and living in limbo...it became a very beautiful thing in the end. I feel privileged to have been related to someone like him, to go through that with him. I would not have missed a minute of it for anything.

I hear ya about the poisons. I've all but quit drinking for that very reason. Overdid it while in a very bad mood, had a hangover for most of the next two days, decided I needed to just stop till I was in a better mood. I've actually been pretty good about it, even on vacation when the booze was free and plentiful! It helped that they were also passing around guava juice like mad.

so far, it's been really nice. i had school yesterday, and then i hung out with my best gal pal. and then today, me and bratzilla slept in until 11, and i did some repotting of my houseplants, which is really meditative for me.

Yeah, and there's only a few of them left up on VOD cuz they took a bunch down yesterday. I think they're for the most part alot better than last season.

Just consider this a perfect opportunity to catch up on cartoons and all of the new SG sets. Hope everything runs smoothly from here! I'm sure you'll feel better in no time.

You are far from boring and you know it. I'm glad you're getting your back fixed up but I don't envy your recooperation time.

I have adhesions from when I had my gallbladder out 7 years ago that have become increasingly painful- to the point where sometimes I end up vomiting from the pain. But when they told me the only way to fix it is to go back in and that I could get adhesions from that surgery too, I said fucking forget it. But mine's never debilitating really, just a major pain in the ass.

Anyway,maybe you'll meet a hot nurse while you're in the hospital.
