Labor day weekend was pretty busy. Here are some highlights:

- I bought 2 books. One is a T.S. reader. The other is "The Conspiracy of Art" by Baudrillard.

I think gum surgery number two has gone very well. Today is day 4 of recovery and I only kinda sorta want to rip it out of my mouth. Last time my stiches started disolving just when I could stand it no longer (it feels like a piece of gum stuck inside my cheek). The pain is kinda achy and intermittent.

Monday: I went shopping after work and then had dance class

Tuesday: Practice for the sunday show with papawheelie after work then going to the Beauty Bar.

Thursday: Friends coming over for dinner.

Saturday: Garage Sale with the neighbors, then going out dancing at the catclub at night.

Awww, the sweet smell of ghetto BBQ is wafting into the appartment from downstairs. It's making me hungry. I think I'll go eat some left over cassarole.

On Friday I learned how to wear a bra properly from Oprah. Thank god for Oprah.

So yesterday I had gum surgery. The periodontist took a bit of gum tissue from the roof of my mouth and sewed it on to the bottom front area. He stiched it so much it felt like he was doing a cat's cradle. The rest of yesterday is a vicodin and bad TV haze. I tried to watch Showgirls (oh man, the worst movie EVER)....

The Lost reruns were incredibly cruel. I'd be all set for a new episode and ABC would be like, "Psych! Fooled you." I read this thing somewhere that everything on the island happens because Walt, the little kid, imagines it. The polar bear, for example, was in his comic book. There are other things.

So what happened to your gums? I hope it wasn't the dreaded disease of gingivitis.
