Ugh. Trouble on the home front. Trouble on the home front.

I just don't think travel and relationships work. At least for me.

I just can't stay emotionally concentrated or attached to someone in the way that they need. Or maybe it is just the people I date.

It is frustrating. Really.

Anyway. I need to update this thing with a proper journal with awesome...

What's happened?

mrrhinos:
He is a silly boy. I hope everything works out ok

Yeah I'm interested, just tell her to friend request me and we'll take her out as much as she wants. There's going to be good waves coming up (I'm going out today) smile

Huuuuuuuuuummmmmm..........

Last night I went out with my friends to another BBQ. This one without herring (thank god!). I ate pizza. I was pretty excited since I haven't had Pizza since before the veganism. Sometimes I feel guilty for eating dairy, but then I just think of having to cook in the nasty kitchen in my dorm.... And I don't feel so bad anymore. Oh...

thank you for your comment Sushii
mrrhinos:
That's excellent that she was found smile

Nope Kerry doesn't know I'm slandering her name tongue

I can't believe you ate the fermented herring puke but taking blood samples sounds cool smile I've only been sick once in nearly 2 years and Kerry has been sick about twenty times. I got a bit burnt out this weekend but I had a chill out day yesterday and a good sleep so I'm doing good now smile

Cool pics smile

That's good news that your tattoo has stopped itching smile

One of the patients on my ward went missing today. They filed a police report, still haven't found the person, it has been over 8 hours. It is pretty scary since the patient has depression and is suicidal. I hope I go in in the morning and find them safe.
s_eldorado:
Whoa that's intense - hope they turn up ok!

Don't be too jealous of the weather in those pics, it's raining and grey today. smile
mrrhinos:
That's really sad, I hope the patient is found safe and well smile

I think she did, she's always giving people colds smile

I'm glad that you're enjoying Sweden, what's been the coolest thing you've done?

I've been really busy, I've been working in my voluntary job most days 9-4pm then straight to the theatre to work 6-11pm so I'm getting a little burnt out. No rest for the wicked smile

Are you looking forward to be going back to Canada?

Sweeeedeeennnn....

So I spent my first week in Sweden sick! Damn planes! Haha. But I finally feel better today, so things are looking grand. Weather here the past few days has been crazy! It literally went from ~10 degrees to ~25 degrees the last few days. Love it, love getting to wear my skirts! smile

I haven't really been up to much, I have walked downtown...

Wow. That is really laid back. I know your Canadian, but in the States you would so be kicked out.. Jeans?!?!?! They would tell you to buy white knickers. They did my cousin. Wow. That's awesome. I am sorry you were sick though! Sweden sounds like an awesome place to be.

The job is temporary sorta. My hubbie's company has a contract to run their bookstore for a few more years (2 1/2) and we will be here at least until then. I don't know past that, but this is really the only job here. It's retarded.

I hope your travels are good! Can't wait to hear more. smile
s_eldorado:
Have you ever spoken with Loretta? She's in Sweden and studying nursing, if I'm not mistaken...

So sorry that you spent the first 10 days sick!! Boooo... but glad you're feeling better.

I actually do have plants at my place, that was just the living room smile

ps: thanks for the kind words about the music!

Well, I am officially done school work this term except for my clinical work while I am in Sweden...... Which I leave for Scotland on the 29th! And spend a week there before heading to Sweden land! I finally get to meet RhinosAreDinos after chatting online for three years, so that is pretty cool! I will have to post lots of photos of my adventures....

Holy crap school and life, you can stop flogging me, I am dead already! tongue

UGH! Combining classes with my maternity rotation (which started earlier today) and also trying to balance life (i.e. making sure I work-out for 30min everyday and having to cook a lot more because of being vegan now) is BRUTAL. My room looks like hellllll!!! My poor critters go uncuddled!! And I...

March break is over! I am so sad to return to school, but what can I do! I have about one month left of classes, then I am done classes until September. I still have my clinical to do, but since it is in Sweden it kind of doesn't count!? tongue

My dreads just had their one year birthday on the weekend! biggrin YAY!

You would be very welcome smile
I am really messy when it comes to studying, that picture was taken after I ran out of floor space and had to go to my dining room shocked

I'm loving your dreads (not literally) smile
s_eldorado:
Dreads look awesome - very leonine!

I see you're a friend of RhinosAreDinos (who is brilliant, kind and generally rad) AND you like Scroobius Pip. So few people have even heard of him that you get 10,000 points. Then we add the BSG fan and, well, I've no choice now.

Friended.

Two of my friends are moving out west to Alberta! It was crazy fast too! I am going to miss them, especially the one who I have been friends with since we were 10 years old! I went to visit them at her parent's house since they are staying there until they leave next week. It was fun, we played some board games and such!...

You are indeed not alone, my sweet Canadian friend. We shall both rule the waves with our out of date witticisms. /highfive.

well I did just take some photos of the tat just now (surprisingly difficult to get a good shot, much awkward bending was involved), but then I realised I left my data transfer cable elsewhere. Curses.

I can't believe how amazing the Olympics were this year! <3
mrrhinos:
They don't mention anything about breaking in until you're there smile This Sun we're going to a public park to find some setts so I hope there is nothing silly involved smile
Nah there not dangerous, but just like any wild animal it's best to watch from afar and leave them well alone. I think they're really cute especially the little ones

Thank you, I'll let you know how the interview goes smile

How long until Sweden?

They're amazing creatures, and there has been a lot of conservation work done to protect them. There other name is the highland tiger biggrin here is a link with more info + awesome pictures smile

They're really easy to keep and pretty cool to watch, I only handle them when I clean them out, so fingers crossed I don't sit on them.

The movie is fantastic, it should be out in Canada by now
bl8228:
That's cool. How long will it take to be completely done?
