thanks! its a fantastic feeling.

to answer a question you asked me a while ago, i am from too small a town for you to ever have heard of it. its near estevan, but the population is below 100 now and all the farmers are leaving for alberta so there isn't much action there anymore. i anticipate taking my kid there when he's older, and showing him the ghost town where i used to live (because that is definitely the direction it is headed). its pretty spooky, in a way, what is happening to that rural subculture that used to make up so much of the saskatchewan identity.

you're kind of a lame ass!

Well,

Interview was intense and an hour long, but from what I hear from a buddy within the company who I had spy for me impressed the powers that be. Not enough to get me the job I found out this afternoon, though. They do want to keep me available for future positions which I also hear may not be that far down the line....

Yo everybody,

I am not dead, just busy. I didn't go online much on my days off and now that I returned to site I have been busy training for a new position that I got shuffled into due to the flood in the mine. Errr, Mine Inflow as we are told to call it. The irony with that is I have an Interview for...

Well,

I'm sure all the Sask folks seen my minesite in the news over the past week. We had a bigtime flood that basically turned a large underground development and 500m shaft to underground into one deep fuckin wishing well. There are definately people tossing some big money down that well. It sounds like it'll be fixed sooner than I expected but god-damn it's a...

Matrices are a theory. They don't exist wink

A friend of mine is rather fond of telling a chemist friend of ours that chemistry is made up. It gets him pretty upset. I wonder if mathematicians would do the same if we said that about math?

Woot Woot!!

I get to leave site today for another week, provided the weather cooperates. This is a shitty season for flying so who know's if we'll be delayed. If we are delayed at all me and vodka_andhonesty won't be able to pick up our little doggie from the Kennel. It's kinda shitty that my flight is an evening one arriving in Saskatoon at 7...

I know someone who has partnered with fellow family members, pooled their money, and purchased a condo about an hour north of Puerto Vallarta. They don't rent it out, have an onsite property manager, and watch for last minute air fares to get them there cheaply. Works for me, if only I had some family members with money! biggrin

yup, it takes some getting used to kitties like these, and some people don't like them while others adore them. Purrle is going to a new home in Saskatoon where the girl's finance insisted on "no cat hair"....she was thinking of buying a persian.

I've had people come into the house and say "is that cat full grown, it looks so small", and "do you shave your cat?"....seriously!

I love them. They're so warm to the touch, and cuddle up with you quite nicely.

but yup, it would be like oil and water mixing a cat with a large dog, I would think. and these cats are very rare and expensive.....too expensive to be doggie food! miao!! miao!!

Thanks. Yes, it is so different an experience when you work a show, or concert, or do any kind of photoshoot, even an SG style shoot.

I just shot another concert (2 nights, same concert) this week.....I had a chance to stop and actually enjoy some of the performance on the 2nd night, and for the life of me, it was as if I was seeing it for the very first time....I missed it entirely when I was busy shooting!

but, they only allow you 2 songs, so I will be enjoying the rest of the Sunday night concert from my seats, somewhere in Row 7....got no idea if they're any good or not, but hey....it's the Rolling Stones!!! Doesn't really matter!!!

I'll try to post some pics, if I can. Not sure what the rules will be yet.

Oi. Hello and all that.
