Well I heard white punks on dope for the first time tonight and i wasn't dissapointed in the least. My boy Eddy from the Shanty's told me about the song earlier today when i was singing along to the radio at work. " She's a beauty" ( one in a million girls) came on and i was enthralled. Its got to be one of my favorite songs and all pretty much because of the wierd ass video. Thank god i grew up when videos still aired. At least the kind of video im talking about here. Anyway, he was telling me about The Tubes who wrote and perform the song and mentioned another song called "White Punks on Dope." So when i went out to the pub tonight i searched for that fucker on touchtunes and to my surprise i found it. Why was ween available on touchtunes months ago and nowhere to be found today? Once agian im losing my thought here but the song was really crazy. I'm really enjoying this extra care-mall-ee star crunch from my main squeeze little debbie. Way to go deb, the bigger ones usually suck. Anyhow my thought here is i would really like to be able to listen to the full albums from artists of yesteryear and really get into all of the songs, not just the hits. Greatest hits albums are pretty bait. Box sets are where its at but at a price. That's whats keeping me from searching vast and wide. Midnight Oil is a great example of this. We've all heard their hits like Beds are Burnng and shit but they have awesome records. I often wonder if people older than me get sick of those same four Aerosmith or whoever songs on the radio like i have.
