did have fun even though I could not get in touch with that person. I am in the office on Thanksgiving, does that say I am having too much fun.

last week i held a dead man's human heart in my hands.

seriously.

from the looks of it he died of a massive coronary...all the arteries surrounding the heart were so clogged with calcium deposits they might as well have been filled with concrete (we couldn't even get a probe into a single artery). i have started checking food labels obsessive compulsively for cholesterol content,...

Why'd you stop using, anyway?

Chuck Palahniuk has always had a cool style of writing that I've admired, so it is influenced by that. And yeah, I can understand where you're coming from on all that. Family history isn't an easy thing to shake. Good luck keeping those demons in check... You seem to have good taste, brains and beauty goin' on and it'd be sad to see that all hit the skids.

I started to watch Coffee and Cigarettes, honest to God I fell asleep about 20 minutes into it and missed the RZA/GZA/Bill Murray part. Maybe I'll look into it again.

So what's your beef with L.A.?

damn, i know exactly how you feel. Im would love to be puffin away at a huge cheech and chong joint right about now. ooo aaa

thanks for the birthday wishes!!

yesterday i had the pleasure of seeing patients again, as studying for finals has me stuck in my apartment most days. the first woman i saw really had the most tragic story - the kind that smacks you on the ass for feeling sorry for yourself - ever.

when i walked into the room she smiled and immediately said, "oh,...

Looks like you've got some good taste in music. We could always exchange some tunes. Expand our horizons a bit. See if we can introduce anything new to each other.

Anyway, it's just odds and ends with my roommate trying to dick me out of rent now that she's moving out. Like I said: Drama.

Sorry to hear about all that shit you're going through. Watch out for those razorblades, cuz I've been there and they always cut way past the skin... Know what I mean?

And don't ever worry about a long story. If there's one thing I love to do, it's read.

metro:
jealous? what are you jealous of?

ja, those stories...they tear you up. that's why i could never do medicine. everyone in my family is in the medical field but i could never handle it. it's interesting how radiation and nuclear power were once considered the answers to all our problems...now we know it's one of the worst of our problems...ahhh, to live and learn.

ARRR!!!

i have totally had it up to here with the music industry. i can't find a single new band i can tolerate. i refuse to beck to the calls of these record execs that are shoving the remnants of a broken, retarded american zeitgeist down my throat. glitchopop and white boy shit. and soulless hip hop. BLAH.

i'd move to canada if i weren't *technically*...

what's your most character defining moment? I think it will be on monday....when I reveal my insecurities to a group of strangers in film class.

are you married/in a serious relationship? nope

why/why not? i have a lot of work to do on me before i can work on an "us".

what are your life goals? happiness and experience

what is beauty to you? anything in its most simple, real, raw state of being

what does justice mean to you? nothing

what does self-actualization mean to you? stagnancy

if you were someone else, who would you be? that sounds like a trick question

I need to get a new computer. Right after I graduate. In lieu of that, though, I got to replace the hard drive on my father's computer because the old one was failing. Kinda fun, actually.

I suppose we all have our hobbyhorses. Surgical aesthetic augmentation kinda creeps me out, but I tend not to politicize it. If you leave, I hope you find your aesthetic ideal elsewhere.

The fact that I don't drink (except when I eat turkey I drink sparkling white wine), probably contributes to my not understanding the comedic stylings of Will Ferrell. I missed Zoolander. It had both Ferrell and Stiller, so I gave it a pass.

My dreams can be a lot of fun. And I wouldn't trade naked men fucking in my kitchen for anything.

You look stunning! You are going to be some very hot Doctor one day. Cancer modeling? As in simluating a cancer cell/tumor structure?

I guess I'm not sure if I meant to be born, because I havent found anything to justify my life yet. For 27 years, I've already seen a lot in my life, and travel some bit. From airplane crashes to losing someone in my arms, I expirenced much my life. I am interested in a lot as you can tell in my "into" list, but in the end I sadly get disarray and bored with most things. I discovered this when I was a pre-schooler! I hated school and gave my teacher a black eye(because I was bored, hated life and was absolutely hated nursery rhymes!). There are lots of these moments. I know, because deep down inside I feel as I'm an truly in the 'wrong time & place' in life. If I had to do it all over again and had the power, I would gladly let the 'other ones' who didnt make it take my place. Anyhow please destroy cancer as it destroyed my family; I know some 3d Max and some Maya, but I doubt they use those softwares for modeling tongue

Hair looks good. Congratulations on the new apt. Must be nice. New York weather isn't so great and a run on the boardwalk sounds very nice, Although ran across the Brooklyn bridge on sat. it was in the low sixties and sunny. Very nice.

<gasp> youve got a picture of a carlsberg bottle in your candids... i wish they sold that stuff where i live, i dont drink beer, but id drink that. i went on a tour of their brewery.
rickroyal:
No, no one found out I have an account here (or, if they did, no one told me). I think the porn thing in my dream stemmed from the fact that I recently sold several pieces of erotica and I tend to keep the fact that I write that away from people I know. But then I tend not to tell a lot of people I'm a writer anyway as everyone has "the perfect idea."

The rest of the dream is probably, as you surmised, my thesis eating my brain. Alas.

Glad to hear the painting went well. The morph sounds quite interesting.

I'd certainly hope that the actual medical condition would be more extreme than what you or I experience. It's the concept that I really like; that it's possible to see with new eyes (unfiltered by expecations) something you've seen a hundred times before. How the mundane becomes sublime.

Heh. The perfect ass would be a matter of context. What is perfect on one person would look horrible on another person. This ass was absolutely perfect for this girl's body; firmly shaped by the extremely tight jeans, the map of her defined by a sharp flare of hip and slim waist. All a matter of proportion that caught my eye. Which is not to say that that was the only type of ass that could catch my eye (ah, far from it; I am a man obsessed with asses), only to say that hers was stunning. It made me weak. Had there been a thong strap creeping over a hip and plunging back into the mouth of the jeans, I'm sure I'd've fallen over.

You're probably right. It's probably fairer to blame society for that stupidity I found. But it really just made me sad. How could she go through life without a thought in her head? What pleasure could she really have had without deconstructing ideas? Without indulging in literary delights? So beautiful; so vapid. And probably not missing what she never knew. The saddest bit of all, really.

You are thinking of the right comedian in Lewis Black, but you might want to skip The End of the World. I wasn't much impressed with it. Compared to The White Album (the one that made him famous and the routine you've probably seen) it is very lacking. I've heard good things about his latest album, but haven't yet picked it up. If I ever do, I'll get back to you on it.

Parker Posey is quite the cutie. I caught Dazed and Confused again recently and was again amazed at how sexy she was in that. Still, as far was indie queens go, I'm fairly partial to Sarah Polley.
