I don't post as much as I used to so here's something new. Although one could make the argument that I phoned it in.
It's really an appetizer, but whatever.

My girlfriend and I went to dinner where I work this Thursday. I had a one hundred dollar gift certificate from winning employee of the month from the casino. We had a great time. We ate great food and got drunk.

My first attempt at recreating the Courtesan Au Chocolat, from Wes Anderson's lovely film The Grand Budapest Hotel. Didn't turn out too bad. It'll look better next time. Pretty fucking delicious, though.
I can think of few better ways to end my stretch of work. One of my favorite films and one of my favorite beers.
