You don't just add someone as a friend. You add them to one or more circles. You can then easily view updates from just one circle, post things that are restricted to certain circles, etc...

Tonight will be a new experience for me: head casting! I'm having a face cast done tonight to sculpt a Death Eater mask over. 30 minutes of sensory deprivation. My eyes, ears, mouth and nose will be covered, save for 2 straws sticking out of my nostrils.

I just super glued my thumb to my index finger. Awesome. Sadly, this is not the first time this has happened, and I've gotten sort of used to it. I keep a bottle of acetone next to the basement sink for when I have to separate digits.

today i booked a trip to san francisco in april for wondercon. woot! i've only been to the left coast once (also san fran, also geek related). it will be great seeing my californian friends!
