my trip was long crazy and intense. when i started out i had a loos steering column loose tires and half a tank of gas i barely made it out of the state of PA before i had to stop and get repair work done, my van just wasn't suited for the crazy West Virginia Terrain i ended up camping out in the mountains. it felt like i was in jurrasic park and the road was scary like i was gonna fly off the road or something... but my car didn't go more than 30 to 40 mph... and it felt like i was in nascar with everyone flying pass me. I stopped everywhere even the FORD dealership for help... they made minor repairs but my van was still slow with wobbly drifting steering... so I finally made it through West Virginia after 2 days of traveling and moved into the state of virginia... there i got no help either... and had to get back on the road...
A day later i Found myself in North Carolina and decided to drive down to Fort Brag, the military Base where my brother services as a soldier, he was on his way out of towne for training and let me stay at his place, I was able to check out my car, it needed an oil change as well as a million other things still, including a steering belt adjustment. I ended up painting the thing so it looked a little newer in hopes of motivating the mechanic to do a good job even painted a robot on the side, also posted the pic, I LUCKED OUT in fort Bragg I found a garage that tightened my steering belt, changed my oil and even shifted my gear box... I was on my way. I left 2 days later doing 60 to 65 on the interstate i felt like i was in some anime racing movie, thank you MILITARY towne! YOU SAVED MY LIFE! onward to the PEACH STATE!
so after 2 hours of driving im in Georgia and the weather is fantastic. I took a picture next to some palm trees with my newly renovated Van it felt like magic after going through such a hard time. SO it was getting late and i wasn't sure about staying on the road because there were no street lights on the interstate, its pitch black... i was still at least 4 to 5 hours from my destination. so i stopped at this PIMP ASS COMFORT INN SUITE and got a pent suite (also attached photos) it felt good to take a hot shower and SLEEP in an actual bed... FELT LIKE HEAVEN...
the next day I checked out and bought a pair of sunglasses 3 to 4 hours later i felt myself about to pull off interstate route 4 and taking the Orlando exit... you know that feeling of contentment from traveling on the road and FINALLY MAKING IT TO YOUR DESTINATION! well this was WAAAAAAAY BETTER, I mean I REALLY LUCKED OUT... i'm right down the street from SEA WORLD! and DISNEYWORLD ISNT BUT A HOP SKIP AND JUMP AWAY! and my apartment suite has a POOL and A GYM! right here i don't have to travel to Planet fitness or nothing... i can work out right here... so I'm very happy, i have 2 room mates ones my brother of my father side of my family that i haven't seen for years! we got to catch up over a bottle of wine, good times.... i woke up the next day and got my workout in, made breakfast and toured the vicinities... I attached some photos but im sure to have more later.
all and all it was a crazy adventure but i'm now content in my new home and looking forward to getting back to creating beautiful art. I have a lot of catching up to do after such a long leave... i'l be checking out some of the message boards and stuff to see where i'm at... you all take care <3
