so tonight just got back from surtaj (best indian in brisbane people and only $8.50mains on a tuesday night) and i had the chicken korma and it was delish. my tummy has a mild ache, but that could be from my PT session today. 60 ab sit-up things and then something else involving my abs...

i love the sound and smell of rain.
and i can't believe Paris actually went to jail!

yeah, there's operation talisman sabre on very shortly - it's a yearly or two-yearly joint training exercise off the central qld coast.

I was in town the last time they came to Brisbane (Mars Volta gig I think) and The Beat had a big sign out the front welcoming all the US Sailors smile

Where is surtaj? If you are ever out Mt Gravatt way, Mughal Palace on logan road is probably the best indian food I've eaten outside of india.

(And if you're a Thai fan, Thai Flavour at Holland Park - near the TAB/down the road from the HP hotel -is likewise fantastic.

so it's really cool to have someone stay with us. andy's mood has improved - he's been in a bit of a funk lately and that's been hard to deal with.

The last time we hung out with Corey was in Hawaii 2003 before our big move to the USA. I was really sick. I couldn't keep food down, not even a pina colada slurpee....

wow, you spent a year here in the US. sounds like you had some great adventures, for sure. i was actually born in Texas, it's a strange place. and if you had been busted in Texas with drugs (unless you were in Austin) you might still be in prison, if i remember the drug laws there.

i had a bit of a funk day today, something must be going around. and that mod suitcase is too much!

So, Corey, a mormom guy that was in the marines with Andy is arriving here from Japan next week. I'm so excited about it. But kinda nervous as well because last i saw him was hawaii 2003 and he really wanted to get drunk and laid and look at titties. although that could be fun to do around here i guess. i'm also excited because...

Shocked and saddened to hear that Shamus is missing. When I was a kid our cat ran away after a move only to return six months later! One of our kittens died, the ginger one, so we have kept the sole survivor and named her Lucky. They have handled the move back to Sydney suprisingly well, especially considering the farm stop over!

By the way, your new profile pic is beautiful!

i'm more of a non-fiction girl too, which annoys me as i always see these novels i think would be a great idea to read but i just can never get into it the way i devour biographies
