I spent a wonderful weekend in Memphis. My friend had a beautiful wedding. I pretty much spent the whole weekend drunk, also, thanks to the hospitality suite at the hotel and the open bar at the wedding. I had tons of good food too: shrimp and grits, ribs, brisket, fried chicken. There was really no shortage of anything!

I hate college. Honestly. I'm quite capable of learning on my own. I really hate classes that do grades for attendance. I like the social component, I suppose, but I'm still pretty picky with who I surround myself with.
I earnestly wish that companies would hire more based on merit than stupid pieces of paper. Maybe someday the institution will destroy itself. For that, the population will have to become educated enough to realize that the corporate/government machine is just using them to make a huge profit for a small number of greedy assholes at the top.
