I have jail school coming up very soon. I am excited to learn new techniques, not so excited about being sprayed with OC and getting tazed.

One more day and I will be done with training at my new job. It will be nice to be running things on my own.

I guess it is true that good things come to those who wait.

This year is full of ups and downs so far.

First the ups, I started a second job at a local outdoor sports store. I am not in the area that I wanted to be in but it is still a fun job. Hopefully I will be moving to the hunting department soon. With the new job, I am making a lot of new contacts...

Well, unfortunately the poker tournament didn't tun out the way I planned. I was card dead all day. For the few good hands that I got, I was very happy with how I played. The cards were just not falling for me. I ended up finishing 87th out of 218 entrants.

One good thing that came out of the weekend was my new gun purchase....
