I'm in Chicago! Been busy, dinosaur jr on Saturday night, went to the pride parade Sunday, then caught Moonrise Kingdom after. Working on A) getting my bike polo business going, B) generating income for myself , C) not spending money. Drop me a line if you're in the white city and know of a show or something else to do.

How was the movie?

I liked it, worth seeing for sure, the majority of the cast is very young, and untried. But all the supporting rolls are a-list so they lead it well. Some of the dialog comes off as scripted, but that plays into the aesthetic of a Wes Anderson world. The 1965 world of some new England place is believable and Anderson works in a few good jokes about it.

In two weeks I move to Chicago super excited. Logan Square here I come. I'm going to lunch my skateboard company doing custom cut decks and hopefully advance my bicycle polo company while I'm there.

24 hours ago I made someone cry. I can't make anybody feel anything but I should have been stronger, I tried to end it a while ago. Now with my move it came all to clear for her, I was being honest I wanted to be open with her all along. People get offended when you're honest, every young American knows this. I only wanted...

Also grad school, I have my list widdled down and am going to be making deals and moves to get what I can on that front.

I need...

If you know anybody looking for a designer please let me know. I have half a mind to fire sale most of my stuff and quit my job and move to someplace.

I have some hard choices infront of me, I guess everybody does. I could allow myself to get more connected in my community, while collecting real estate and building up personal wealth. I...

Youngstown sounds amazing! Very much like Vermont in many ways. I do miss the strong sense of importance that Vermont put on urban/micro farming and sometimes I think about being in a place that encourages those lifestyles again. BUT I'm in a pretty cool town in Virginia and there's at least some agricultural support.

I would love to check out your friends blog! What a steal. I'm sure she'll have her hands full with it, but it was cheap enough and she'll learn so many interesting things along the way.

From the few things I learned about insulation, foam seems the way to go. As far as moisture/pests/effectiveness it sounds like a viable option.

Well, from reading your blog, if you leave Youngstown I hope you find another place that you like. I love exploring new towns. On the other hand, if you stay I would love to hear about your real estate expeditions! (And good luck with the lady)
