Well, the new tattoo is complete and almost completely healed. I'll have to go back to Monster Ink to have it looked at and see about one or two spots that look a little light and might need touching up. Overall I'm happy with it. I'll have to get the old one that got infected covered up with something appropriate.

So the so the new ink is half done. I have to go back and finish in another sitting because I had somewhere to be and was out of time for that day. I'm welcoming comments or suggestions as to what to use to cover the old one; because of the location and the colors in it it's going to have to be a fairly...

Tattoo couldn't be saved, so I'm going to have to cover it and replace it. Replacement is underway... the old one, because of the way it was done and how it scarred and leached out can't be duplicated.

I can't believe I've been here 13 years. I've seen some women change body shapes, size, breasts (natural vs implants), vanish completely (@jemma) come back and vanish again (looking at @chride), move from in front to behind the camera ( @sawa @fishball ) and all variations in between.

Tech advances (yay for larger photos!), scripting and web design improvements, etc.

Of course, prices changed, too....

Except for one particular SG, @nayru, all of my favorite Suicide Girls names start with "S"...@sophoulla, @sivir, @sash, @stephanie, @sawa....

Lately I've not had a lot of free time to browse SG, so when I see a set I like, I just leave the tab open to come back on the weekend to view it. Recently, though, there's been no less than four sets in the last month that the model's page just...vanished. I know in one case her name changed, and THEN she vanished....

I think they changed names. For example ghostkitten become amortentia, and larabeard become larabea...

Well I wish I knew what they changed them TO, because finding them is a pain!

So, you see a set from either a favorite model, or just a really bangin' set from a hopeful; you go to comment, and there's just a few pics that stand out as Hope diamonds in a pile of gems and you want to comment on those...what do you do? "Hey, that pic where you are kinda kneeling facing the window looking over your shoulder,...

That's a great idea as well; if Mark Zuckerberg can figure it out, I'm sure SG can. ;-)

Finally got my SG tattoo...and the damned thing got cellulitis. Three tats from the same guy, and two got infections. Out of the six I have, he did three, and two got infected.

NOT a good ratio or track record. He's a good artist, but after doing some asking around, I've heard some really bad infection stories about the place.

On the plus side, Lifetime...

Yeah you really must be wary. Some artists do great artwork and do work that looks good. But some don't sterilize well and some don't tattoo well, and by that I mean poking too many holes in the skin (by going to many times over a skin spot). I was tattood 4 time by one artist, and I realized that three out of the 4 times, my tattoos healed badly. I have twelve tattoos and all the other ones healed well...so...yep...be carefull people

It's healing now; I'm on two different antibiotics. I'm just hoping that it's not TOO damaged....it's bad enough getting fine detailed work retouched; it's worse taking the pics of the original, and asking someone else "can you fix this".

So, almost 11 years later, I figure I'd better update this in case anyone from then was still around of my few followers and let them know, yes, I am still alive. We were out of power for 7 days, and I had to relocate to another state for 9 months. Didn't lose my home, family is intact. All in all, I fared better than...
