Now that I'm done with Ragtime...I have plenty of time on my hands. Unfortunately, that time has been spent in bed with a sinus infection...but what can you do?

I did manage to see Wicked last night at Music Hall... was almost as good this time as it was when I saw it in NY earlier this year.

Other than that...just planning on getting...

Final weekend of Ragtime the Musical begins with a benefit performance for victims of recent hurricanes tonight.

Without a doubt, this has been the most enjoyable show I've ever performed in. Its an amazing musical, and I hope to get to do it again someday. Though after this week is up, I'm going to take a long break from theatre.

Back on SG after a long absense. Hoping there are still people I know online.

Opening in Ragtime the musical in Denton tonight. If anyone is in the Denton area - hope you can come see this show.

PS Will try to update my profile photo soon...as that one is way old.

Ok, finally updating after what seems like forever.

Nothing too new for me. Went to NYC last week and had a great time (saw 4 shows).

Hoping to do more theatre here in the Dallas area soon. But not sure what's next to audition for.

Thats all for now.

Not too much new. Settling into my new job. Its going really well. Looking for another play or musical to do in the DFW area, but I haven't found one I'd like to audition for.

Meanwhile, my Aggies are playing some pretty good football, though they have a tough test at Okie St. this weekend.

That is all for now.

On the job search...

One more interview schedule for this week...its a SIXTH interview with a F20 company. I'm pretty positive that I'll be getting an offer this week.

If that one doesn't pan out, I've got another offer on the table, but I'm really pulling for my top job choice. Ready to be employed again!!!

good luck smile

Spent the weekend lounging around my parents' pool. It was good to get out of Dallas for a few days, but glad I'm back now.

Had a couple of good interviews on the job front last week. A couple more and a follow up all schedule for this week.

Wish me luck!

To no big surprise, I was laid off from my job last week. But what is surprising, is that I'm handling it pretty well. I see it more as an opportunity than a real negative. So if you know of any sales or sales management jobs in the DFW area, please let me know.

Other than that, I finished up the musical I was in,...

Well, I do community theatre in the DFW area, and the show I'm in closes this weekend. Anxious for the last three shows, as I have a number of friends coming this weekend. But then I'll have to find something to do with my spare time. Maybe another show?

well, thats true, it is a very biased movie, but at least its a new perspective on things. all she knows is what the tv shoves down her throat. maybe, just maybe, she will take the one extreme of the tv and the other in michael moore, and come to an opinion somewhere in the middle.
i need to teach her to take things with a grain or two of salt. my mom is pretty matter of fact, always takes the things she sees on tv or reads in the news as utter and undeniable fact. id like her to realize that she doesnt get the entire, fact-based story from tv.

i agree with you on that.
but ya never know
im not as much of a raging leftist liberal as i come off as sometimes.

ok, another week has begun and I'm realizing I need a new job. I'm with a very young company that is undercapitalized. The potential is great...but without capital to keep the business goinig until that potential begins to materialize - that potential means dick.

Thanks, I need to get ready to go to another aerobics class. I really love teaching aerobics, I like the workout, I get to do what I want and I get paid for it. It is great! smile
