I had the most wonderful evening of the last twenty years Tuesday, and one of the worst. I beat the undefeated champion player in the county in my APA 8-Ball match and the team took 3 out of five. Last time we met he beat me five straight and the team went 0 for five, A beautiful (perhaps the most geogeosu in town) I have been wanting to court accepted my invitation to watch and was there to witness it when I arrived. She shoots pool quite well and had asked me to heolp her with her game when we last met a few weeks before Christmas but up until last night had not returned my calls. I bought her some dinner which we shared as I shot and a couple drinks to celibrate (I am an alcoholic and shuld really never drink though). She was wanting to join our team but my captain told her we didn't have room for her but maybe next session. The other team glommed on her and ask them to join them (she beat several of them on another table. When we were finished, my team wanted to returnt the Fishbowl (the club that we represent where Mary Pranster played twice) and she said she would catch up with me there. It was packed and my captain ( a dapper gentleman 10 years older than even I) wanted to go across the street to a quieter place. Karoline never arrived so I joined them. Upon leaving the bar I hit some black ice and droped the bike. The police saw it happened and smelling whisky on my breath took me to the station. I blew .134 so they cited me and took me tothe hospital. They called my mom who was haveing a breathing attack to pick me up. She then freaked out and they had to call an ambulance for her. She is doing better and may be released in A COUPLE DAYS. I landed on my face and have a fair sized shiner and some cracked ribs. But I'm alright aside from the fact I am afraid they may sit me in jail for months, and I hate jail- more than anything. I can't handle success, it just kills me!
