I think I can say that this year was the best trip, to the San Diego Comic-Con yet, for me!
I had a blast!I'd been planning the trip since I missed last year's Con, & was determined to attend this year.
I went out there with a great group of people/friends, we stayed at a sweet hotel (The Marriott) right in the middle of San Diego's famous 'Gaslamp District', less than 3 blocks from the convention center.
While out there, I got to check out the Convention *of course*, Went out to some awesome restaurants, & got the opportunity to attend some great parties.
Here are some highlights/pics taken at the Con:
There were great, lifesize displays from some of the successful movies this past year
I was able attend a bunch of sweet panels during the week, like the Marvel Wrters Panel, which included Chris Claremont & Matt Fraction
& the Rob Liefeld(w/Deadpool) panel * I am not a fan of his but he did come into the panel with a decent sense of humor, even making fun of himself at times - but I still don't like him*
I got to see some really sweet outfits, worn by some very pretty ladies...
& a few funny ones as well.
I like the pic above *Spider-Man Carrying Spider-Man, While playing Spider-Man*
Other highlights were the IronMen display, The Light-Cycle from the upcoming Tron: Legacy movie, & a cool interactive unit for the new game "Red Faction"
Got to see many celebrities, like Malcohm Macdowell & Seth Rogan, & visited many Small Press booth's like 'Possum Press Publications'
Guys at the 'Mega 64' booth attracted loads of people the last day by dancing like crazies *It was Funny as hell!* Lol
Of course, the trip wouldn't have been as fun, if I didn't have such great friends with me like Squeak & new friends I met while out there like Bob
Squeak is such a sweetheart & a even sweeter friend, & Bob is truly a fun & luvly lady & I feel lucky to have met her
Squeak & Murnau hanging in the Lounge at the Old Spaghetti Factory
At the 'Gaslamp Strip Club', where you cook your own Awesome Steak! with Squeak , Murnau , & Metaverse
Other great guys we met at the Con were Sean *Another one* Drinking & driving his jet
& Timmy sitting at the Lounge, workin the mustache
While at the Con, I got to attend the Tweet House Party on the Battleship: Midway museum, hosted by William Shatner & his guests Brent Spiner, Levar Burton, & others.
Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better trip, except I had the misfortune of meeting a very sweet girl, who worked at the Marriott on my LAST day there, so I couldn't capitalize on a very sweet, pretty thing
I planned to give my Twitter/Facebook/Email info to her, with the hope of becoming a Twitter pal or sumthin, then when I return next year we can get together, but alas, she was not there at the hotel when we were leaving *Missed opportunity*
I think, next year, I'm gonna plan to STAY in San Diego a couple days longer than the Con itself, & see what the city has to offer without the Con there

Good luck with Squeak's new set! I seriously can't wait to see it!
