back to work next week. however our HVAC unit has shit the bed so I will be remotely managing my branch. Perhaps I should get a megaphone so I can shhhhhh from a distance. Librarian humor...no?

I am ready to go back but I will miss my afternoon naps in a BIG way!

winter is here...eh?

I really don't mind. It's much milder in Philly than it is where I grew up. They just got 24 inches overnight.

I miss the damn daylight though. Makes me want to sleep too much.

I do like making tea, knitting, and listening to some good tunes.

I feel like I'm at a crossroads. Clearly I am. My body feels foreign to me. Not necessary bad just strange. I wake up evey day and think..wow this is just bizarre that this is me and my life. I never imagined.

Wushu however is form of modernised Kung Fu for performance. It's really a blankett term for all Chinese martial arts, but it has slowly become a form in it's own right that mixes other forms of kung fu into a routine for exhibition. It's romanticised and over the top.

Surgery is behind me now. I was supposed to stay through Wednesday but I did well and I came home on Tuesday. I've been sleeping and reading mostly. The surgery was 7 hours and I haven't pooped since Monday but..otherwise I'm doing really well.
