Depends on the red flags, honestly. Sometimes there are red flags that more signal problems with me than with the other person, and sometimes there are red flags that signal problems with the other person. They're not always easy to decipher.

And they're never easy to listen to either way, it seems. Sigh.

And thanks for the offers of hugs. True fact: both my parents are actually from Omaha, and most of my extended family is there. Next time I manage to get to visit, I may take you up on that.

thanks. we're all looking forward to getting back. It hasn't been a bad deployment at all, but nothing beats coming back to the States after being away out here. I know I've done that, usually in the form of music or books they gave or something. Or I'll keep photos. Guys are certainly pack rats. And I guess we want to hold on to the idea that there must have been good memories involved...
