As of this weekend: I have discovered my musical limits.
My musical boundaries have been stretched so far this year: Dub, indie, rap, classical, electro, emotive singer/songwriter stuff. (Though not emo or pop-punk, happily.) I even reneged on my long-time hatred of country music. I guess I knew it was coming.
I guess cute/happy indie-synth-pop isn't my thing.
I think all the girls in bright, natty smock-dress things may have rubbed my fur in the wrong direction a little. Add the boys in big sunnies, baggy shirts and fertility-destroying stovepipes with amusing slogans on them, and the fact that all the aforementioned kids were either drunk, high, or bothm, and I was put off a little, to say the least. And that was before my - drunk, though not, least to my knowledge, high - friends racked off on me, to dance like retards in the pit. Fucking Uni Gigs.
