I put my faith in frontal. My choice needle is the small semi-lunar, and for sub-mandibular it's a bastard to get back in the same hole (I was never any good at that part). You'd be suprised how well that flap of skin will hold. I have no trust what-so-ever in the needle injector gun, it's for suckas and arraging directors.
