So I decided to start a new fitness program, you know, build back some endurance, some strength in the knee and such. So I started the the very popular "Get off my ass and do something about and stop using your knee as an excuse program"
Its a very scientific program.
So I hit the pool for the first time in rather not say.
Wow, ok so that was interesting. Apart from letting the kids and 80+ years through as I stopped dying, I'm pretty surprised I managed by a bizarre mixture of lungers, freestyle, breaststroke and back "paddling" to complete over 500m ....it did tale a while
My favourite part was when I tried to lift myself out of the pool and arms went jelly.....
I said to the wife, "well it can only get better right?" and she was kind enough to provide support with, "no it gets worse before it gets better".
This could be a slow process.....The bike is next, oh dear
