I feel much better than I did yesterday. This morning I took my brother to check out a house in west philly, which looked like a good situation for him, so he's moving in tomorrow. This is good because it forces him to be responsible for himself instead of depending on me to take care of him.

I think I need a pint of reeces...

Is this as good as it gets.. I have been asking myself this question over and over throughout the last few months. It has to get better than this.. otherwise what's the point?!? I came to one of those stunning realizations today after having spent most of last night and all of today working on a website for a complete pain in the ass client....

Well, my brother has shown me his complete lack of motivation and a total lack of respect for anyone in the short time that he has been here.. I'm now faced with the difficult decision of sending him back to Chicago or continuing to support him if he stays here. I know if I let him stay here and continue to support him, I'll only...

I got quite a surprise a couple days ago. My brother called me at 8:30 in the morning and told me he wanted to come to Philly for a while. I picked him up from the bus station last night and we went out for dinner. I haven't seen him in almost 4 years and I barely recognized him. He just turned 19 last month...

So it's almost 11:30 on a Saturday night and I'm sitting here on the computer.. what an exciting life I have eh.. I have a client's website that was due to launch last night and I'm now a day and a half behind and we're having problems with the user forum we designed. Ok, I designed it and paid someone else to put it together.....

sleep unravels the worn sleeve of care? It's not the heat, it's the way your clothes catch on fire?
Hopefully, your client is in the same frame of mind- tongue tongue

Today was supposed to be my day off, but that's just not gonna happen. I've been working 16 -17 hour days all this week, due to having too many new clients and not enough qualified help. I guess it's hard to find qualified people who are willing to work for only $20/Hr, but with all the out of work compute geeks I know... you would...

NYC fucking rocks! I'm moving there in November and that's all there is to it! I am going to leave the house in Plymouth meeting and go live on my new boat for the summer. Well.. ok.. so it's not new.. it's new to me! It sorta looks like the boat from Jaws. I like it though, it's all real wood and the cabin is...

Yay1 Have fun! I want a boat sooooo bad. the_cowboy has a nineteen-footer that we take out on the lake, but we'd like to get something at least thirty feet to hit the ocean with. (I'd like something even bigger, but that's because I'm greedy).

No trip to Chicago for me, so I'm going to spend the rest of the week in Manhattan instead. Now the fun part.. getting my shit together so I can leave at a reasonable hour and make it there by 10PM tonight.. It's just been one of those mornings where I don't want to leave the house, I've got a fresh pot of coffee, good...

Woohoo! No more working on weekends! It was really nice to sleep until 2PM today, I haven't done that in a while. I saw the original Japanese version of The Ring last night (Ringu) and I was not impresed at all.. Come to think of it.. I didn't like the american version all that much either.. Oh well..

So today I think I'm going to...

A sailboat sounds like a sweet place to reside. Lucky bastard. HA. With WiFi and a beer you will be all set.
Laundry for me too. Fucking clothing.

Should have told him to find someone that will do it for 300 and call a good lawyer. Can you say structural instability?

*takes last sip of coffee* SAMNIT!

I am at the point where this town is mindnumbing. Kill me. Or get an apartment with me.

I decided to do something different and take the entire weekend off, I'm really glad I did because I was begining to seriously neglect my social life.. Friday night I went to see Star Wars Episode III, which was surprisingly good considering what others had told me about it. It was cool to see Anakin's transformation into Darth Vader and see Yoda's confrontation with the...

that's what I had to do when I went to Texas last week directly after Prom. I was at Prom until 2am, drove home from SF, then drove down to catch a 6am flight. it was tough, but I caught some sleep on the plane (power nap), and was ok for a few hours after I landed.

Running into old friends and meeting new ones are simple pleasures that we take for granted.

It's good to take some time off now again. It reads like you deserve it.
